schmorrn. is a Graz band consisting of the three singers Alissa Totz, Barbara Gieferl and Magdalena Zink, who describe their music as Styrian Soul. The band reinterprets well-known soul and pop songs by creatively and sensitively translating the lyrics into Styrian and developing their own vocal arrangements. They succeed in retaining the original emotion and energy of the songs, while enriching them with a humorous, down-to-earth and at the same time profound touch. Hits like "Cry me a river" by Justin Timberlake or "Come on over" by Christina Aguilera are transformed into unique works that sound both familiar and refreshingly different. Accompanied by a three-piece band, the focus is entirely on the three-part vocals, which range from delicate harmonies to powerful, soulful sensations.
