Circus Ronaldo creates a circus that is deeply rooted in tradition and at the same time surprisingly contemporary. With historical wagons, old props and a style of play inspired by Commedia dell'arte, the group brings the theatre circus of bygone times back to life. Inspired by the Japanese concept of "Tsukumogami" - the belief that things develop a soul over time - every object transforms into a living witness to circus history. In Da Capo, the Ronaldo family tells its own chronicle - a cinematic-poetic journey through 180 years full of wonder, passion and coincidence. From the 15-year-old boy who ran away with the circus in 1842 to the seventh generation who enters the ring today, a touching family epic unfolds.
