Circus Ronaldo creates a circus that is deeply rooted in tradition yet surprisingly contemporary. With historical wagons, old props, and a performance style inspired by Commedia dell'arte, the group brings the theater circus of bygone eras back to life. Inspired by the Japanese concept of "Tsukumogami" – the belief that objects develop a soul over time – every object transforms into a living witness of circus history. In Da Capo, the Ronaldo family tells its own chronicle – a cinematic-poetic journey through 180 years full of wonder, passion, and coincidence. From the 15-year-old boy who ran away with the circus in 1842 to the seventh generation entering the ring today, a touching family epic unfolds.
