In the highest-altitude natural pharmacy on the Planneralm, the valuable Latschenkiefer (Swiss pine) oil is produced according to old tradition. For over 60 years, during the summer, the heating boiler on the Planneralm has been used to transform the young shoots of the Latsche (crumholzkiefer) into beneficial oil.
