What's it about?

This special tour is dedicated to the legendary castle lord and knight Andreas Baumkircher. From his beginnings as a mercenary leader, through his time as a castle lord, to his tragic end, this colorful figure of the late Middle Ages has left clear traces. The tour "The Castle for the Devil" explores the life of the founder of Schlaining and shows his lasting influence on the city and the castle up to the present day.
