Dining at Königsbrunnen

A festival for knights, kings and the people!"Where knights once rode and kings dined, we celebrate and feast at the Königsbrunnen in Glashütten bei Schlaining!" A day like in the Middle Ages with kings, knights and the people.The medieval festival begins on September 20, 2026 at 10:00 AM with a "Knight's Test for Children" – sack race, balancing, dragon egg run, horseshoe throwing – Every participating child receives a "Knight's Certificate". The male and female winners of the royal test are named Knight and Damsel of Königsbrunnen. The child with the most beautiful medieval clothing receives a special prize.For "the people" we serve suckling pig and Krautfleckerl.Parking at Königsbrunnen is limited. A short hike from the village of Glashütten bei Schlaining to the mystical Königsbrunnen is highly recommended. The route is well marked!Parking: Bicycle rest stop in the village center, from there a 30 min hike
