What's it about?

With concerts, recordings, world premieres, and avant-garde projects, the Pannonian Wind Orchestra has been promoting wind music as a sound experience since 1990. The goal is to perform works and composers from the Pannonian region as well as international concert wind music. The symphonic wind orchestra will hold the concert "The Future Sounds! – A Portrait of Composer Peter Kleine Schaars" on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at 5:00 PM at the Oberschützen Cultural Center. The focus is on the collaboration with the internationally renowned Dutch composer and conductor Peter Kleine Schaars (https://www.peterkleineschaars.nl), whose works are performed by wind orchestras worldwide and make a significant contribution to the contemporary repertoire for wind ensembles.
