What's it about?

Sustainable forestry has been practiced at Esterhazy for decades and is confirmed by awards such as the PEFC label and the Wildlife Estate label. In times of climate change, our forests are threatened, but at the same time, climate-adapted forests offer solutions for the future. The Landseer Berge Nature Park is characterized by a high density of forests, where diversity plays a central role in resilient and sustainable ecosystems. Using practical examples, we will demonstrate oak and fir regeneration as well as the cultivation of site-adapted guest tree species – including discussion and exchange of experiences.
