Real me-real girls need no filter

What's it about?

How can we support children and adolescents in developing a healthy self-esteem — despite filters, beauty ideals, and social media? As part of the educational project REAL ME, we invite you to a multiplier training session. Together, we will explore the effects of filters, photo editing, and digital beauty standards on self-esteem and body image. In addition, participants will receive practical suggestions to strengthen the resilience of children and adolescents and to guide them in a critical and confident Umgang with social media. The training is aimed at parents or grandparents, educators, club officials, and all interested parties who want to support children and adolescents on their path. This event is organized in cooperation with FEMININA – Women’s Health in Burgenland, the parents' association of the Forchtenstein elementary school, and the Working Group Healthy Village Forchtenstein.
