What's it about?

Bringing a piece of the past back to life by awakening the spirit of old wood. I work with sturdy oak wood, in which flavorful Burgenland wine has reached full ripeness. Through many steps of craftsmanship, a wine barrel stave becomes a true one-of-a-kind piece. Each item tells its own story: the story of the tree from which the wood was cut and the story of the barrel that served as the cradle for a truly noble drop. All pieces are handcrafted with great passion until they reveal their individual character. A protective layer of oak care oil finally gives them a velvety shine. Exhibition at the HOLZ DEKOR Braun studio, Hausgärten 8 – Hintaus. Opening hours: Fridays from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
