What's it about?
Gaißau will once again be the meeting point for the Vorarlberg fire brigade family. After the successful premiere in 2025, the State Fire Brigade Football Tournament will take place for the second time on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the SV Gaißau Sports Park. The Gaißau Volunteer Fire Brigade is looking forward to welcoming fire brigade teams from all over Vorarlberg as well as numerous visitors to Gaißau again. Spectators can look forward to exciting games, sporting ambition, and the best entertainment. The focus will not only be on the performances on the football pitch but also on meeting and exchanging within the Vorarlberg fire brigade family. Additional excitement is provided by the fact that the Gaißau Fire Brigade enters the tournament as defending champions. After winning the tournament at the first edition in front of a home crowd, the home team wants to keep the challenge cup in Gaißau in 2026. Whether this succeeds or a new tournament winner is crowned will be decided on the pitch of SV Gaißau.
