Letter by letter, word by word. Sentence by sentence. With a sluggish force, the cabaret artist fights against the speed of the world. The whole evening celebrates slowness, and therefore the stories are not told at an increased pace. But as an audience member, you don't need to worry about getting tired because of the slow pace. Because it might happen that Egersdörfer gets angry once. He often gets upset about everything and nothing. And then you'll wake up again. Matthias Egersdörfer, born in 1969 in Nuremberg, is a cabaret artist, author, actor, and singer of the band FAST ZU FÜRTH. He has received numerous awards, including the Passauer Scharfrichterbeil, the German Small Arts Prize, and the Austrian Cabaret Prize. Together with Jürgen Roth, Egersdörfer published the epistolary novel DIE REISE DURCH FRANKEN, and in 2019, his novel VORSTADTPRINZ - ROMAN MEINER KINDHEIT was published by Rowohlt Verlag. In addition to many CD releases, such as FALTEN UND KLEBEN (2008), ICH MEIN'S DOCH NUR GUT! (2011), and NACHRICHTEN AUS DEM HINTERHAUS (2023), Matthias Egersdörfer can also often be seen on television.
