What's it about?

On the slicer, ready, go: Join in and participate. For the OGV event "Kraut und Kränzle" on Saturday, October 10, 2026, starting at 9 a.m. at the Biohof Lingenhel, we ask for registration and kraut orders by October 4, 2026! You can bring your own kraut or order it from Birgit Schmelzenbach at 0664/4604581. The slicer kraut is sourced from the garden of the Klosterhof Marienberg, by Nikolai Jochum. Additional kraut for personal use can also be ordered and picked up on this morning. 1 kg of kraut costs 2.50 €. The spices are provided by the Fruit and Gardening Club. Please bring your own fermentation jar or canning containers. Sauerkraut is rich in vitamins A, B, C, and minerals, and can also be conveniently made in a jar! We are happy to show you how it’s done! Feel free to ask questions! Information is available on-site or in advance from the OGV steering team.
