From Vienna to Seville: The duo Swete / Schwarz invites you on a musical journey through Europe. From Boccherini's lively 'Fandango' to Pescetti's rarely performed Sonata VI and Mertz's romantic sound world, the path leads to Bartók's famous 'Romanian Dances'. With Rossini's overture from 'The Barber of Seville', the concert continues energetically. In Vienna, the two guitarists transform Fritz Kreisler's 'Old Vienna Dance Tunes' into new waltz sound colors, before ending the journey with four virtuosic works by Isaac Albéniz in Spain. An eventful concert full of surprising sound colors, virtuosic moments, and European music history — on two guitars.
