Eighth Edition of the Ruggburg Charity Race

What's it about?

In addition to the already known categories for cyclists, as last year, running enthusiasts or simply casual runners can conquer the Ruggburg for a good cause. The race covers over four kilometers. The race starts at 10:00 AM at Halbenstein in Hörbranz, then the route leads over the Ruggburg, Lutzenreute to the finish line at Fesslerhof in Eichenberg. There are again 474 meters of altitude to overcome over a length of 4.3 km. The start will be in small groups of ten participants each, so that everyone has the same chance to achieve a best time. The first group will be sent into the race with a starting shot. The following categories are available: Athletes (Run and Bike) U30: Born 1997 and younger (Entry fee €20.00) Athletes (Run and Bike) 30+: Born 1996 and older (Entry fee €20.00) E-Bike Category Riders 79 kg and lighter: Only commercially available e-bikes are allowed for scoring! (Entry fee €20.00) E-Bike Category Riders 80 kg and heavier: Only commercially available e-bikes are allowed for scoring! (Entry fee €20.00) All participants must be at the starting area at Halbenstein 90 minutes before the start. Bib number distribution takes place 100 m below the start. Backpack transport from the start to the finish area is organized on site. The entire proceeds will be donated to Kinder-Krebs-Hilfe for Tyrol and Vorarlberg. Therefore, no trophies or prizes will be awarded to the top finishers. Every rider will be rewarded for their effort in the finish area!
