After a three-year stage break: Hubert von Goisern announces the 2027 tour – an open musical field between outlooks and reflections. Loud and quiet. Whether too loud or too quiet is a question he asks the audience. "Too loud? Really? I don't think about that. I'm more interested in where this boundary lies for the audience." "I go into every concert with curiosity about what actually happens that evening – at least as curious as the audience." When Hubert von Goisern goes on tour again in 2027, three years will have passed since he last performed live in front of an audience. However, he was never truly silent during this time. As part of the 2024 European Capital of Culture, Goisern was on the road all summer – with spontaneous, short-notice concerts, with changing guests and line-ups. Musical encounters that defied planning. The street created closeness and opened a new artistic freedom. "I was never gone. I was out, on the street, playing – with whoever it worked out with. I invited people, whoever had time, was there. Learning to deal with constantly changing situations was both a challenge and an enrichment. We played around 50 concerts. It wasn't a vacation – it was better than a vacation." Much of what emerged in 2024 will continue to resonate – not as a concept, but as an attitude. Hubert von Goisern has always been an artist who defies expectations. His music moves between tradition and innovation, between quiet moments and radical breaks. His style has never been static – but always in flux. "Actually, I am someone who prepares thoroughly for everything. But this was about experimenting, about letting myself be surprised. The appeal for me lies in the interplay, in connecting things that perhaps don't belong together. I have never repeated myself – why should I start now?" The new tour will start exactly there: not as a reproduction of existing programs, but as an open musical field where things are allowed to develop. Loud and quiet – also as different musical approaches that will run through the tour. "I know some would be happy if I just played familiar songs. But I have enough to do to meet my own expectations. And there are also those who would be disappointed if I had nothing new to offer." The time as a quiet companion "Heast as nit, wia die Zeit vergeht ...?" Is there anything more fleeting than music? It is as ephemeral as time itself. Open your ears and listen.
