What's it about?
"Men and women simply do not fit together..." - and yet they have to get along every day. When the breakfast egg has been overcooked in the morning and opinions about the evening's plans differ, things become critical. Loriot captured this perfectly in his legendary "Scenes from a Marriage," published in 1983. His sense for interpersonal dynamics and the comedy of everyday communication show Loriot as a keen observer of the very human comedies. As a tribute to the master of humor, two popular stage and film stars, Senta Berger and Friedrich von Thun, come together to bring these scenes to life and laughter. Together and against each other, they struggle with stumbling blocks that everyday life throws in their way, and of course with all the insurmountable pitfalls of a relationship. As Loriot once said: "A happy marriage is one in which she is a little blind and he is a little deaf." Enjoy the show!
