For this acoustic project with handcrafted music, a special concept has been developed, focusing on Andreas Gabalier and his band. The outstanding musicians give the unmistakable folk-rock sound a powerful, yet finely tuned foundation. Additionally, a ten-piece string ensemble adds depth, dynamics, and sonic breadth to the arrangements. The goal is to create an atmosphere that combines energy and intimacy through acoustic instrumentation, a large musical ensemble, and new arrangements. Those who have seen Andreas Gabalier on big stages will experience him here up close in an intimate live setting — supported by extraordinary musicians. Andreas Gabalier regards 10 years of MTV Unplugged as a "celebration of musical-acoustic craftsmanship." "10 years as a knighted milestone in my career, I look back on it with my team. The anticipation is high, being there is everything." On March 13, his song "Vergiss Mein Nicht" will be released in an unplugged version.
