Seven Plums With their new album "Seven Plums," the Vienna duo Die Strottern and the JazzWerkstatt Wien collective once again merge into the congenial Viennese Workshop. "Seven Plums" is an invitation to subtle nuances, to thoughtful grooving, and to passionate wonder about the state of the world. Intelligent humor meets lively joy of playing, as the unbearable lightness of being dances a stumbling waltz with complex song structures. You can hear from the recordings how much these nine people enjoy each other's company and how much fun they have making music together. It suits them – and it suits us. The fundamental rule of this art is equality, where everyone can shine in their own way, but no one has to awkwardly play the lead. And if someone has nothing to do at the moment, it seems as if you can hear the smile of the person taking a break. In collaboration with the Musikfabrik NÖ.
