Farewell Tour: The Last Applause After more than two decades performing on cabaret and small stage venues, Luis aus Südtirol, also known as Manfred Zöschg, is saying goodbye to his audience with one final major tour. The "Pfiati" tour marks the end of a unique stage career—and offers a rare opportunity to see the popular South Tyrolean cabaret artist live one last time. With him, he brings new sketches, well-loved classics, and plenty of stories from real life—funny, touching, and very typical of Luis. The audience can look forward to a very personal program that includes reflections on his greatest moments as well as glimpses of what is to come. An evening full of laughter, nostalgia, and surprises—perhaps even for Luis himself. The farewell "I owe everything to my audience—really everything," says Manfred Zöschg. "‘Pfiati’ doesn’t just mean ‘goodbye’ to me, but ‘take care of yourself’. And I say this from the bottom of my heart." He still feels comfortable on stage—but the surroundings have become too exhausting at age 67. So: better to stop while it’s still fun. The last tour is "like a mountain run without training—tiring, but with a view". And: it is also a thank you—to everyone who has accompanied, understood, laughed, and listened to him. The book The farewell tour is accompanied by the release of his first book, which will be published in fall 2025 by Raetia Verlag. It offers deep insights into Luis’s private life—with childhood memories, anecdotes, pranks, and of course, lots of humor. He is especially fond of the story of the legendary "Gold Find": a gold-plated lead bar secretly buried in the garden, which caused childhood euphoria, neighborhood rumors—and to this day, sparks conversations in the village. In addition to humorous memories, the book also discusses special challenges—such as his performance in New York, where Luis presented parts of his program in English—"without much pressure, but with a lot of heart." The "Pfiati" tour is not only the end of an era—it is a celebration for everyone who has laughed, thought, and lived with Luis. Those who want to see him live one more time should seize the opportunity. There will be no encores. Luis aus Südtirol says: Pfiati. And thank you.
