What's it about?
20 years of Camo & Krooked – 2027 is all about Reinhard Rietsch and Markus Wagner's shared journey. Since 2007, they have been among the defining acts of the international drum & bass scene and have made the Austrian sound known far beyond the country's borders. Milestones include their albums "Above & Beyond", "Cross The Line", "Zeitgeist" and "Mosaik", with which they have continuously developed their own sound. They received international awards early on and established themselves as a fixture at major festivals and clubs in the scene. What distinguishes Camo & Krooked is above all their unique approach to music. Drum & bass is the basis, but never the limit: disco, funk, soul, house, electro and a lot of experimental joy have been part of their musical toolbox for years. "Zeitgeist" and "Mosaik" in particular showed how consistently the duo rethinks their sound while always remaining true to themselves. Camo & Krooked have also developed their own signature live. The journey, which has taken them to stages around the globe over the past two decades, ranges from elaborately produced live hybrids to international headliner shows. In 2027, this story now returns to Austria: The 20 Years Anniversary Open Air Tour combines the most important chapters from two decades with a look forward. The duo's most recent path, which showed another extraordinary side of Camo & Krooked with the Red Bull Symphonic project, also fits this. They also performed as FM4 Stage Headliners at the Donauinselfest. 20 years of Camo & Krooked is therefore not just an anniversary, but a piece of Austrian drum & bass history – and 2027 will be celebrated together with the audience.
