36 degrees, chirping crickets, and the perfect soundtrack: "Mescalero Ranger," the second album by the Vienna garage rock band Reverend Stomp. These eleven songs warm ears, hearts, and dance legs. The band describes their style as "Swamp Surf": an explosive mix of blues, desert sound, surf rock, and uncompromising rock 'n' roll — driven by Christoph Mooser's rough voice. A sound that is as timeless as it is powerful and reminiscent of soundtracks by Quentin Tarantino. The songs were recorded live at Nautilus Studio in Dornbirn — raw, authentic, and without any double meaning. And that is exactly what to expect from a Reverend Stomp live show.
