What's it about?
After seven studio albums, three live albums, and regular, sold-out tours across Europe, Aynsley Lister hardly needs an introduction. The British guitarist, singer, and songwriter has earned an excellent reputation in the blues and rock scene in recent years, and for his album "Home" in 2013, he added three new awards to his already impressive collection: At the British Blues Awards 2014, the album's title track was named "Song Of The Year." Furthermore, Aynsley Lister was named "Songwriter of the Year," and in 2015, the musician prevailed against the competition as "Guitarist Of The Year." With his current work "Eyes Wide Open," he has created a wonderful, bold, and catchy album of contemporary blues and rock that will delight not only his existing fans. The genre-crossing sound represents a consistent continuation of his previous albums, of which the man from Leicester has already sold over 100,000 copies. Live, Aynsley Lister and band also impress with raw and energetic songs that contain all facets of traditional blues.
