What's it about?
In the past – before asphalted roads existed and before heavy transports moved loads – young, brave men braved the dangers on the water when they accompanied the valuable wood from lanterns down the valley. During a tour of the Rankweil Triftanlage, you learn about the timber transport on the water and the working methods of bygone times – exciting, remarkable, and diverse. Meeting point: at the Triftsteg Gewerbepark (entrance Patrick's). The tour is free of charge. No registration is required.
