Whether it's the harbour, the old town, or modern architecture – capture the most beautiful places, the atmosphere, and the life of the city on an inspiring sketching excursion.Material listThe following material list is only a suggestion. You are welcome to bring your own materials and supplement them with the materials listed below if necessary. In principle, high-quality material is recommended so that you enjoy using it.- Sketchbook suitable for watercolour (not too large for on the go), e.g. A5 from Hahnemühle- a small watercolour box- Waterproof fineliner (e.g. micron or Faber Castell) or fountain pen with waterproof ink (e.g. Lamy with Sketch Ink from Rohrer and Klingner)- Watercolour brush with water cup or water brush (e.g. from Pentel or Faber Castell)- Pencil, eraser/kneaded eraser- if necessary, white pen for highlights (e.g. Uniball Marker from Posca, gel pen uniball Signo)- Cloth for drying brushes- if necessary, small spray bottle (to activate watercolour paint, for effects)- also watercolour pencils, chalks or other paper and material that you like to draw withWe will be drawing outdoors, so a backpack, hat, sunscreen or weatherproof clothing is recommended.Seating is not always available at good motifs. Therefore, please bring a (small) foldable stool or chair, as drawing while standing is too strenuous in the long run. In principle, the material for sketching on the go should be as reduced as possible, as everything is transported on foot and you occasionally walk for a long time to find a beautiful motif.
