What's it about?
The three headliners of the anniversary edition embody an exciting mix of experience, great emotion, and youthful freshness. Laura Chavez from California is certainly the best known of the group. Chavez knows how to captivate every audience with her song-serving rhythm guitar and her rousing electric guitar solos. Her excellent reputation in the scene was finally confirmed when she won the Blues Music Award for "Best Instrumentalist – Guitar" in 2023 – the first female guitarist ever. Chavez will perform as a solo artist for the first time as part of the Blues Caravan. Matthew Curry is a real insider tip for anyone familiar with the blues and rock scene. The American has been on stages across North America for over a decade, thrilling audiences with his unmistakable sound blending blues, rock, and Americana. He has shared the stage with true greats such as Peter Frampton, the Steve Miller Band, the Doobie Brothers, and Blackberry Smoke. The newcomer in the group is the Frenchwoman Elise Frank. As the frontwoman of the band FRANK, founded in 2021, she has already performed at renowned music festivals such as the Cognac Blues Passions Festival and the Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival. Her performances on the upcoming Caravan tour are eagerly anticipated. Even after 20 years and hundreds of shows, the proven concept of the Blues Caravan remains unchanged. First, each of the three headliners plays a complete live set, before all of them perform together in an exciting jam session at the end.
