What's it about?
36 degrees, chirping crickets and the perfect soundtrack: "Mescalero Ranger", the second album by the Viennese garage rock band Reverend Stomp. These eleven songs warm ears, heart and dancing feet. The band calls their style "Swamp Surf": an explosive mixture of blues, desert sound, surf rock and uncompromising rock 'n' roll - carried by Christoph Mooser's rough voice. A sound that is as timeless as it is powerful and reminiscent of Quentin Tarantino soundtracks. The songs were recorded live at Nautilus Studio in Dornbirn - raw, authentic and without a safety net. And that's exactly what you can expect from a Reverend Stomp live show.
