What's it about?
The multi-award-winning international piano blues and boogie-woogie artist became one of the defining personalities of the Canadian blues scene several decades ago. Wayne's musical journey began with gospel music, which he got to know through his father, a preacher. From there, his path led through jazz and Latin American music to R&B and soul. Long before he moved to Canada, Wayne lived in Los Angeles and delved into numerous other styles such as swing, bebop, standards, and dance music. His smooth yet powerful piano playing and his casual, soulful voice take his audience on an extraordinary musical journey.
