Reinhold Bilgeri „Das Gewissen der Tauben“ Reading with Music
What's it about?
On October 30, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, Reinhold Bilgeri will read from his latest bestseller novel „Das Gewissen der Tauben“ at our venue. In between, Bilgeri will perform songs from the Great American Songbook. The story is about a crazy love between 20-year-old Gerda and the enigmatic Piero, a 30-year-old Italian-Swiss who is involved in a smuggling mafia and provides Gerda and her strictly Catholic mother with insights into the shady dealings of the Vatican, which historically collaborated with Nazis and enabled their escape to South America. This daring love story from the 1950s/60s takes us into a world that Gerda and her mother would not have believed possible. Location: Public Library, Kirchstraße 8, Satteins. Please register by October 25, 2026, at the Satteins Library. Admission: voluntary donation. This event is co-financed by funds from the federal government.
