Lech Card - The Geoweg Excursion

What's it about?

On Friday, the Lech Card themed hike will include a geological trail excursion. Where there is now alpine terrain, mussels and prehistoric "squid" once thrived. What once rested under deep blue water has risen to form an impressive summit that towers over a massive ice sheet. The geological circular trail offers a fantastic journey through time – along "Stone Witnesses" on the path through the millions of years. Discover the secrets of a world that reveals other time dimensions to us! The walk takes you through a magnificent alpine "rock garden," where splendid flowers and herbs create enchanting contrasts with the rocks, and the Monzabonsee lake lies like a sparkling diamond.
