Brassed off! Best of! The Sonus Brass Ensemble plays their favorite music this evening at the Remise! The musicians are prepared to play anything that comes their way, whether it's from the fingers or the valves. Music by Leonard Bernstein, Fats Waller, as well as Shostakovich and Claude Debussy, and above all, a wild, joyful, virtuosic, and brass-heavy communal concert experience! With great enthusiasm, technical precision, and a fine sense of timbre, the Sonus Brass Ensemble combines classical works with jazzy elements and surprising arrangements. This results in a varied evening that playfully crosses musical boundaries and continually surprises the audience. Expect an energetic, humorous, and virtuously crafted concert experience that makes the unique sound world of a brass ensemble audible in all its facets – a communal musical experience that is engaging and inspiring.
