Mantra Singing

What's it about?

Nestled in the enchanting, idyllic retreat village of Gramais, amidst breathtaking scenery, we come together to sing. I play the harmonium and also bring percussion instruments. Bring your instrument to play along! Kirtan is an Indian form of mantra chanting, performed or shared in a call-and-response style. This is followed by a phase of silent meditation. Children are also welcome, provided they respect the space and are quiet during meditations. This event is based on donations. The donations go to an Achuar community in the Ecuadorian Amazon, where the tribe is fighting against illegal logging and mining and the associated pollution and devastation.
