Geierwally Open-Air Stage 2027: "Wer früher stirbt ist länger tot"

What's it about?

The Geierwally Open-Air Stage presents the world premiere of the theatrical adaptation of the Bavarian cult film "Wer früher stirbt, ist länger tot" during the 2027 season. The mischievous boy Sebastian believes he is responsible for his mother's death. Afraid of purgatory, he decides to become immortal! In search of forgiveness – and a new wife for his father – he causes hilarious chaos in the village. "Wer früher stirbt, ist länger tot" by Marcus H. Rosenmüller and Christian Lerch is a cheeky, touching comedy with lots of provincial charm about guilt, courage, and the power of community. Directed by Christof Kammerlander and Bernhard Wolf.
