Pippi! Andreas-Hofer-Platz

What's it about?

The leisure education project "Pippi - Play im Park" by the City of Linz in cooperation with the Linzer Kinderfreunde has been a fixture in the provincial capital for more than two decades. The target group is primarily children and young people aged 8 to 14, for whom the playground no longer offers age-appropriate activities and who are still too young to visit a youth center. The project is particularly aimed at children who, due to various factors, are not supervised in summer and are responsible for their own leisure activities. This year, we are excited to offer our exciting PiPPi program at Andreas-Hofer-Platz as well! From July 14 to August 28, daily from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, unforgettable adventures, creative games, and lots of fun await you and your children. Come by and have a great time with us! The activities are tailored to the needs of the children on site. The range of possibilities is wide and includes various ball games, entertaining excursions, communal cooking, and various outdoor games, as well as photo shoots, educational activities such as neighborhood rallies, getting to know the diverse offerings in Linz, and processing topics related to the past school year. The supervisors from Linzer Kinderfreunde are competent, committed, and reliable contacts who encourage children to participate. The diverse participation opportunities particularly aim to increase creativity and try new things. The program starts at 4:00 PM and runs until 7:00 PM, always Tuesday to Friday. Pippi takes place directly at Andreas Hof Park and can be visited there.
