Early start to the cross-country skiing winter! In Galtür, the cross-country skiing season begins as early as November 5, 2026. While elsewhere people are still waiting for the first snow, cross-country skiing enthusiasts in the highest located village of Paznaun can already take their first laps on well-prepared trails. Thanks to snowfarming, two specially prepared opening trails of 1.79 and 5 kilometers are available at Sedlsee. At an altitude of around 1,700 to 1,800 meters, they offer ideal training conditions for classic style and skating. Whether ambitious athletes, training groups, or recreational skiers – nothing stands in the way of a successful start to the winter season against the impressive backdrop of the Silvretta mountains.
