From the end of September, experts from the state and the district headquarters will be available on-site in all Tyrolean districts for personal consultations in various areas – from housing to family to school or apprenticeship. A special focus will be on the areas of care and ID Austria. The Funding Tour will be complemented from December by "FRIDA and IDA(austria) on Tour." Starting December 1, 2026, the new FRIDA registration period begins for all children who will be attending a nursery, kindergarten, or after-school care for the first time in the 2027/2028 care year or who are changing facilities. This way, interested parties can not only get information about funding but also specifically about the right to placement in a child education and care spot for all children from their second birthday and the ID Austria needed for registration. "The state of Tyrol relies on the personal responsibility of its citizens but supports where necessary. We want to help those who truly need our assistance. Our solidarity is with the weakest. Therefore, our goal is to make the state's offerings as simple and comprehensive as possible. With the Funding Tour, we bring advice directly to the regions and create an uncomplicated point of contact for various concerns. When multiple service offerings are bundled in one place, it saves people trips and allows for an efficient use of resources," emphasizes Governor Anton Mattle. Funding Tour: Focus on Care (everyday life) and Support for Affected Individuals During the Funding Tour this spring, around 400 Tyroleans took advantage of the advisory services. A particular focus of the autumn tour will be on the area of care. This is not only about information on individual funding but also about concrete support in organizing everyday care. For example, if 24-hour care becomes necessary, affected individuals and relatives can receive advice on procedures or financial support. If needed, individual solutions will be sought together with other relevant parties and stakeholders. Especially in challenging life situations, it is important that support is accessible as easily as possible and without major hurdles. The Funding Tour is therefore also intended to contribute to ensuring that people can access the services and support they are entitled to. "When life becomes challenging due to care, financial burdens, or other difficult situations, it is often not easy to keep track of possible support options. This is exactly where we want to intervene: The consultation comes directly to the districts and thus closer to the people. This strengthens the low-threshold access to social support and helps to find the right solution together," emphasizes Social Councillor Eva Pawlata.
