LOCATION: Hundeschule Landeck, 6491 Schönwies, Lasalt (dog training area) DATES: Each at 4:00 PM on 29.08.2026, 26.09.2026, 28.11.2026 DURATION: approximately 4 hours TIME: Each at 4:00 PM COST & MATERIALS: €80 including a 254-page color manual REGISTER NOW NEW REGULATION FROM JULY 2026: 4 hours of theory and 2 hours of practical training Theory (NEW): 4-hour theory session (before acquiring a dog) Practical (NEW): 2-hour practical session (within the first year) Tyrol Special Feature: Behavior towards pasture livestock WHAT TO CONSIDER? Liability Insurance: In Tyrol, insurance with a coverage of at least €725,000 per dog is mandatory. LISTENING DOGS: Tyrol does not have a traditional breed list. Instead, it responds individually to dogs with behavioral issues, which may then be subject to muzzle and leash requirements and an 'extended knowledge' obligation. LEASH REQUIREMENT: Mandatory in Tyrol in public transport, near playgrounds, schools, and large gatherings. OBJECTIVE OF THE TRAINING: Future dog owners will receive valuable information about dog keeping — from selection to daily responsibilities.
