What's it about?

Two outstanding ensembles from the local scene share the Stadtbühne: Earthtones and Saltbrennt invite you to a double concert with emotional indie-folk and homemade groove blues. Earthtones combine introspective songwriting with the energy of a full band. Between folk, alternative rock, and orchestral timbres, the Tyrolean collective creates an atmospheric sound that thrives on emotional storytelling and musical attention to detail. Quiet, almost fragile moments meet powerful outbursts, intimate melodies meet hymnic expansiveness. Especially on their current album Paths, the band shows its strength: songs about belonging, resilience, and interpersonal connections that are equally touching and captivating. Saltbrennt are well known in the Oberland for their "groove blues according to a traditional recipe". Harmonica and tuba take on unusual roles, creating a sound that is at home somewhere between living room blues, street festival, and stadium rock. Earthy grooves, musical sophistication, and four-part charm meet honest joy of playing and a deep bow to the origins of the blues – in English, German, and Tyrolean dialect.
