What's it about?

"THE END OF HUMAN RACE" is more than an art exhibition – it is a global art project and an emotional message to humanity. Tyrolean artist Alexander Maria Lohmann addresses the most pressing issues of our time: climate crisis, species extinction, artificial intelligence, glacier melt.In Sölden – on the Rettenbach Glacier – the global project starts with seven large-format works (up to 4.5 m high) and ten reflective silhouettes. Some of them are partially submerged in the glacier, others integrated into the landscape – and all change with wind, weather and time. Just as we too must change.The exhibition is freely accessible, embedded in the natural landscape and can be discovered individually as part of a glacier visit.
