Wettersee | Erlanger Hütte incl. Hut Taxi

What's it about?

This impressive hike leads right into the high alpine landscape of the Ötztal Alps. From the meeting point, we reach the Gehsteigalm, the starting point of our tour, by taxi. From here, the path leads steadily uphill through the impressive mountain landscape of the Geigenkamm to the Erlanger Hütte. Above the hut lies the Wettersee - a clear mountain lake, embedded between rocky peaks and alpine meadows. The high alpine surroundings offer impressive views of the surrounding peaks of the Ötztal Alps. After a well-deserved rest at the Erlanger Hütte, the descent leads to the idyllically situated Leierstalalm; from there, a taxi takes us back to the valley.
