JAN DELAY & DISKO No.1
What's it about?
Live 2027: Funk, Soul, and Hip-Hop at the tennis stadium - one of only a few performances in 2027 in Austria and Germany. Premiere at the Kitzbühel tennis stadium: on Friday, August 27, 2027, JAN DELAY & DISKO No.1 will perform "Live 2027" for the very first time in the Gamsstadt. The concert is a rarity, as JAN DELAY & DISKO No.1 will only play very few, select concerts in Austria and Germany in 2027. The evening complements the concert weekend, which continues on Saturday, August 28, 2027, with Hubert von Goisern. What sets JAN DELAY & DISKO No.1 apart is the unique atmosphere they create with their large band: groove, power, and joy of playing, making it hard for anyone to stay still. The tennis stadium provides the perfect setting for this — like a cauldron, the stands enclose the audience, and the energy jumps back and forth between stage and seats. Jan Delay is an icon of German pop. For over 30 years, the Hamburg native has shaped the country's music and has consistently evolved from album to album: from hip-hop to roots reggae to funk, soul, and rock. Five solo albums, four live albums, three influential bands, and countless shows, from youth centers to Rock im Park — in 2024, the best-of compilation "FOREVER JAN (25 years of Jan Delay)" was released, featuring his biggest hits and two new songs. Above all, Jan Delay has remained a fan: those who have experienced him on stage know what music means to him.
