What's it about?
Tyrol. A story full of heroes, mistakes, intrigues – and a lot of stubbornness. From 40 BC to the year 4309, the time travel takes us through history – but not quite in the way you know from history books. In fast-paced, satirical episodes, we meet Romans, farmers, nobles, mountain and ski heroes, tourists, and brave emigrants, all of whom have shaped Tyrol over the centuries. Major historical events meet small human weaknesses, patriotic legends with biting humor, and the past with a rather crazy future. Of course, the legendary figure 's'Kasermandl' is also part of it – a mythical character who moves between mountains and valleys, past and future, and has a very own perspective on Tyrolean history. A loving time travel with a wink through our beautiful land. Performed by the actors from Heimatbühne Kitzbühel, Volksbühne Ellmau, Theatergruppe Bergland Assling, and Rettenstein Theater Kirchberg – directed by Thomas Gassner.
