After ascending the 150 steps to the Chapel of Grace in the tower of the famous pilgrimage church, one is rewarded with the sight of the famous Gothic Madonna image, which has drawn believers from near and far to "Maria am Stein" since the late Middle Ages. The impressive pilgrimage church offers not only the exhibits in the castle museum but also very special highlights: the "Tyrolean State Insignia" with the Archducal Hat and Scepter, donated by the sovereign, Maximilian, the Deutschmeister (around 1600).
