Panoramic Hike on the Hohe Salve

What's it about?

Today you follow in the footsteps of the KAT Walk, the long-distance hiking trail of the Kitzbühel Alps. Take the Salvenbahn up to the middle station of the Hohe Salve. Together with a hiking guide, you will hike across lush alpine meadows on the sunny side of probably the most beautiful panoramic mountain in Tyrol, our Hohe Salve! This half-day hike requires stamina and fitness, as you will cover around 650 meters in altitude. Meeting point: Infobüro Hopfgarten, Brixentalerstraße 41, 6361 Hopfgarten Registration: by 4:00 PM the day before online or at the Hohe Salve region's information offices Equipment: sturdy shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, sufficient liquids and sun protection, snack Costs with Kitzbüheler Alpen Gästekarte: free (excluding lift ticket for ascent and descent) Costs without Kitzbüheler Alpen Gästekarte: 22.00 per person (excluding lift ticket for ascent and descent) Duration: approx. 4 hours Participants: min. 2 to max. 12 Difficulty: medium Note: Changes due to fitness and weather conditions are subject to change.
