Bat Tour

What's it about?

The village church of Walchsee is home to one of the largest maternity roosts of the greater mouse-eared bat in Tyrol. From May to late summer, hundreds of mother bats raise their young there annually. Both species (greater and lesser mouse-eared bat) are nocturnal insect hunters and are strictly protected. On this evening, participants will learn interesting facts about bats. Meeting point at the Walchsee music pavilion. Registration required at the Kaiserwinkl Tourist Association!
