Götz Widmann
What's it about?
A man, a guitar, a microphone. That is all Götz Widmann needs to make his audience forget everything else for an evening and turn the Kulturfabrik Kufstein into a palace of joy of life. Live and solo, always the best, every Götz Widmann concert is a musical short vacation from general madness, a few hours of carefree laughter against all the unpleasant energies around us, a spontaneously granted feeling of happiness. And finally, normal people who just want to have a good time together peacefully. Götz Widmann analyzes almost everything from the small wonders of everyday life to the sex lives of galaxies in his songs in his typical disrespectful-humorous way, rather with a raised middle finger than a pointing finger. The only thing he might keep quiet about is the joint paper just before sealing it. Götz Widmann is sometimes shockingly honest, but behind all his winkingly mischievousness, his songs are filled with radical love for humanity, an unwearied call for independent thinking, and a deep bow to the right of individuals to resist stupidity, hatred, and tyranny.
