What's it about?
OvO is an Italian Black Metal / Noise-Rock duo with Stefania "Alos" Pedretti - vocals, guitar, pedals and Bruno Dorella on drums. The band's sound, seething with a flat malevolence, equally combines extreme metal, noise rock, industrial music and dark electronica. OvO's music is characterized by Bruno Dorella's banging, swampy drums, gusts of feedback and powerful guitar riffs, as well as Stefania Pedretti's uncompromising voice, and is at the same time an ambitious exploration of hardness beyond the various metal genres. The duo has toured extensively around the world, playing over 1000 shows in various locations including Europe, Asia, North America and Mexico. Silius draws inspiration from the greats of metal, giving their music a nostalgic essence while adding their own modern touch to old school thrash metal. Each member of Silius is a virtuoso in their own way, and their individual talents combine to create a cohesive soundscape that is both familiar and innovative. Their 2025 album "Beneath The Flash" received excellent reviews in numerous renowned metal magazines. Wesen from St. Johann i.T. categorize their sound as Melodic Post Black Metal, and is a band whose content is dedicated to the critical examination of themselves, the past and the future. Emotional and captivating. Dealing with and confronting one's own self are the mystical core points of Wesen.
