Discover the smallest dairy farm in Itter - home to the rare Tyrolean Grey cattle, an endangered breed. Farmer Stefan, a passionate part-time farmer, mountain rescuer, and former avalanche dog handler, takes you on an exciting journey through the world of traditional milk processing, alpine and agriculture, and the annual Almabtrieb (cattle drive). At the same time, you will gain fascinating insights into the modern side of mountain life: learn exciting facts about machine snowmaking, slope preparation, avalanche blasting, and the work of slope rescue, mountain rescue, and the emergency helicopter. Finally, you will prepare the traditional dish "Rahmmuas" together with Stefan - naturally followed by a tasting. The evening will be musically rounded off with a few pieces on the Styrian harmonica.
