Sunrise Hike to KRAFTalm
What's it about?
Early in the morning, the hike starts through the idyllic forests and meadows of Itter to the middle station of the Kleine Salve. At the pilgrimage chapel, you will experience the sunrise and can then enjoy a delicious breakfast or a hot coffee at KRAFTalm with the best views. You can return to the valley either comfortably with the Salvistabahn or on foot on your own. Meeting point: Salvistabahn Itter, Alte Bundesstraße 1, 6305 Itter Registration: by 12:00 PM the day before online or at the information offices of the Hohe Salve region Cost with Kitzbüheler Alpen Guest Card: € 10.00 (excl. valley descent and breakfast) Cost without Kitzbüheler Alpen Guest Card: € 25.00 (excl. valley descent and breakfast) Equipment: sturdy shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, sufficient liquids, sun protection, snack, headlamp, possibly a seat pad Duration: approx. 6 hours Participants: min. 2 to max. 15 Note: the hiking trail to KRAFTalm is approx. 6 km and has an elevation gain of a little more than 700 m, only takes place in good weather. Also possible as a sunset hike by arrangement. Attention: no liability is assumed for any accidents if other hiking trails are used during this event!
