Hintertuxer Oktoberfest 2026

What's it about?

This year again, on the last weekend of September, the Hintertuxer Oktoberfest and the cattle drive from Bichlalm take place - a true piece of Tuxer tradition! Beyond the borders of the country, the Hintertuxer Oktoberfest is associated with a farmers' market, traditional crafts, and Tuxer cuisine. Good entertainment and great atmosphere with various music groups are guaranteed in the festival tent this weekend. The highlight of this traditional festival is the cattle drive from Bichlalm, which is considered one of the most beautiful in all of Tyrol. Top bands from near and far will provide good mood, music, dance, and atmosphere again.
